Elephants and Flowers
Elephants and Flowers is a forthcoming memoir by C.L. Johnson about music, memory, disability, faith, and the long work of becoming visible to oneself.
The book traces a life shaped by sound: childhood rooms, family stories, spiritual hunger, disabled embodiment, and the strange mercy of finding language through another artist’s work. It is not a book about imitation or celebrity worship. It is a memoir about resonance: what happens when music gives form to feelings a person has carried for years without a name.
Expected in Autumn 2026, Elephants and Flowers will be available through Amazon KDP in paperback and Kindle formats.
